With around 270 stores across the Netherlands, PLUS Retail is a nationwide cooperation which has a powerful competitive advantage over many of its rivals. Working with individual store owners, the chain leverages flexibility and insight to tailor its offers for local customers a steady stream of customer communications.

But this focused marketing strategy came under threat, when the chain was suddenly told its existing content management system was being withdrawn within months. PLUS Retail needed to rapidly implement a new, highly flexible, future proof solution to meet its complex and growing marketing needs. It chose censhare, with its advantages quickly becoming apparent.

Better, faster asset management

In a super speedy implementation, PLUS Retail was able to continue its marketing efforts uninterruptedly during the transition between the legacy system and the new, censhare Omnichannel Content Management Platform. While taking over the previous requirements of producing weekly store cards, the management of digital assets, and weekly print flyers, censhare also enabled the improvement of process efficiency, the better management of a growing bank of digital assets, and the faster production of weekly print marketing materials.

Productivity is up and the quality of output much higher. With other departments also wanting access to the system for their content needs, PLUS Retail is already planning the next steps for their future proof censhare implementation: workflow automation.

The usability of censhare is ten times better than our previous system. For example, for a campaign we are able to see right away the selected images on offer level. In the old system it was one campaign file with all selected images, so checking all images on offer level took a lot of time.
