REWE Markt Gmbh forms part of the REWE Group, a leading trade and tourism cooperative in Europe which includes brands such as REWE Markt GmbH, Penny, Billa and toom Baumarkt and employs 330,000 people across 15,000 stores in 20 European countries. For REWE Markt GmbH, with sales lines operating across 3,300 locations in Germany, regionalized advertising presents many challenges. From product pricing to the end production method, differences in localized tastes and cost expectations must be met.
When faced with such complexity in terms of data and process management for cross-region advertising production for its German customer base, REWE Markt GmbH worked with strategic censhare partner MSP
to implement a centralized ad media solution. As a result, a centralized censhare system now supports streamlined data management, production processes and team collaboration in one system for all regions and target groups.
MSP’s implementation of the censhare solution led to a 75% more efficient production process and radically reduced the risk of errors in product information, as last minute changes to the data are performed in the one central system. REWE’s weekly sales brochures can be created for each market via a partly-automated process, with the central database supplying all imagery and the latest product information. MSP also worked with REWE in order to create tailored modules such as the TeamRoom, which facilitates end to end digital process management.
