With over 12,000 employees worldwide and providing tours to 120 destinations via numerous tourism brands including FTI Touristik and WINDROSE Finest Travel, FTI GROUP currently ranks as the third largest tour operator in Europe.

But a period of rapid growth for the group resulted in complex, high-maintenance content management systems and inefficient processes. The company was therefore on the look out for a future-proof and centrally managed solution which could handle all types of content and its delivery. During this search, the FTI GROUP came across censhare’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution and, recognizing its ability to smoothly integrate with existing systems and to scale with the organization’s needs, saw censhare as the perfect fit for the GROUP’s needs now and in the future.

The rapid growth of the group had resulted in many insular solutions that could no longer be operated efficiently. The centralized system from censhare enabled us to reorganize the processes and standardize the numerous content archives.

From DAM to an integrated content platform

Initially focused on the centralization of extensive image archives and the streamlining of image procurement, the implementation of censhare introduced new and fully digital processes and transparencies within those processes. As a result, only 2 years down the line the business is already boasting impressive results, with tangible cost savings and a workload reduction of around 35% for teams involved in image procurement and processing.

The FTI GROUP now plans to expand its censhare system to create an integrated content platform, to ideally equip the organization for its medium and long-term future: producing all offline media - e.g. posters, brochures and magazines - and potentially archiving the professionally produced content of its sonnenklar.TV television station in censhare, making available to other Group brands in the one, central system.

We are particularly pleased that we have been able to relieve the burden on those departments that were previously heavily tasked with image acquisition and processing. We anticipate around 35% less workload. This time is now available for creating even more attractive offers.
