The DAM Architectural Book Award 2010 goes to Migropolis

DAM Book Award

The Migropolis book project, conceived and produced with the help of censhare, has been awarded once again. The DAM Architectural Book Award is the third prize to be bestowed on this exceptional book project. Following on the distinction as one of Germany’s Most Beautiful Books and winning the bronze medal of the World’s Most Beautiful Books competition, DAM Deutsches Architekturmuseum awarded Migropolis in the urban sociology category on October 6, 2010. The Frankfurt Book Fair and Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM, German Architecture Museum) bestowed an award on the book once again following its successful premiere the year before.

Migropolis

The Migropolis project, headed by professor Scheppe and conducted by his students at the University of Venice, prevailed over the submissions of some 90 international architecture and art book publishing houses. An expert jury comprising DAM representatives and external jurors judged the books according to the criteria of design, innovation levels and topicality.

censhare would like to congratulate all of the contributors to the Migropolis book project and is already looking forward to the next award in the not too distant future.
