Experienced B2B tech leader to lead censhare’s Product, Development and IT teams from April 2021.
Universal Content Management Provider censhare welcomes Alexander Röthinger as new CTO from April 1, 2021. The proficient tech leader will be responsible for further shaping and driving censhare’s Universal Content Management platform by leading its Product, Development, and IT teams.
After an intensive search, Alexander Röthinger joins censhare to succeed co-founder Walter Bauer, who is stepping out of operational business after an exciting and successful 20 years during which he laid the foundation for the sustainable further development of the censhare product.
Despite the global pandemic, 2020 saw a continued growth for the company, with client wins such as Bega, Bygger'n, European Parliament, Reitan Convenience, Volvo Cars and UBS. 2021 started off very positively, indicating further strong growth.

He brings with him 25 years of experience in leading roles for fast growing B2B tech companies, with a strong technical background and focus on customer-centric product development.

Before joining censhare, Alexander founded his own software company while studying computer sciences. He then moved on to a major B2B marketplace for IT procurement where he managed development and data processing units across Europe. Over the past 14 years, Alexander was CTO and Board Member at affilinet, one of Europe’s leading performance marketing networks. During this time, he was also CTO and Board Member at Sedo, a domain-trading and monetization marketplace.
