Content meets Technology meets Business

With a total of 18,000 members, the Media & Publishing group is one of the oldest, largest and most active sector groups on XING and rank as official XING Xpert Ambassador Group since September 2009. Under the auspices of Johannes Woll, proprietor of the consulting firm Schweizer Degen and head of the XING group two events took place on November 23 and 24 in Hamburg and Munich on the topic of The Future of Media and Information Technologies.

Stefan Ruthner, Key Account Management, censhare

Leading innovative technology and media companies presented the latest state of technological developments and discussed the future of global information management, and the resulting new business models for media and IT companies. The expert round included, among others, Dr. Malthe Wolf, Head of Business Development Technology & Media of TNS Infratest GmbH.

Speaking for censhare, Stefan Ruthner, Key Account Management, gave a presentation on “Publishing and Communicating in the Information Age.“ In a world in which information is being constantly linked anew, discussed and argued from many different vantage points, companies are facing entirely new challenges. The talk addresses the implications of ongoing “hyper competition“, corporate responses such as the “strategy of creative destruction“ as well as the structure of competitive companies.
