Corporate Publishing

„Visions and innovative solutions for successful corporate publishing on a censhare (Schweiz) AG event„ is the motto of the first censhare event organized by censhare (Schweiz) AG on 7 May 2008 in Zürich.

Invitees included marketing and communication managers from several Swiss manufacturing companies and media service providers, such as agencies, prepress houses and consultants. More than 50 participants in downtown Zürich’s cosmopolitan g27 restaurant saw compelling presentations on diverse aspects of state-of-the-art corporate communications.

The event provided a satisfying mixture of theory and practice: Presentations of scientific experts complemented reports on their publishing practices by corporate project leaders.

Prof. Stefan Gürtler, lecturer on corporate communications at Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz (Polytechnic of Northwest Switzerland) offered a far-sighted and visionary overview of “Corporate Communication Today and in the Future.”

Florian Paul, formerly general manager of BMW’s production agency Greenhouse Publishing GmbH, and Nancy Crisp, head of creative services at Dyson Ltd, offered interesting insights into current communication concepts and solutions of internationally active enterprises.

Dr. Nadja Parpart, director of consulting at Virtual Identity AG, gave a presentation on the challenges facing a large agency, and Dieter Reichert, founder of CoWare AG, demonstrated the advantages of the innovative censhare publishing system for customers as diverse as BMW Group, Condé Nast, and McCann Erickson.

The stimulating mix succeeded in illuminating the requirements and dependencies of advanced corporate communication from many angles and presenting innovative solution – and in initiating lively discussions during the following cocktail reception that lasted late into the evening.

Jürg Weber, CEO of censhare (Schweiz) AG, summarizes: “The event was a complete success, and I was surprised that – despite the presentations overshooting the schedule – almost all guests stayed till the end and even for the get-together snack. I think we succeeded in providing our guests with new ideas and solution concepts for their everyday problems and initiating a constructive exchange of ideas between them. The feedback was exceedingly positive; most guests personally said good-bye and thanked us. Given this result, I’m very much looking forward to another censhare event later this year.”
