I’ve said that phrase a few times, as I introduce our new video blog. It’s a simple sentence that becomes surprisingly complicated when someone points a video camera in your direction. Nonetheless after take number 6, we have our first set of episodes "in the can" as those Hollywood types would say and I can welcome you to Inside censhare.

So, what is it?

Well, I am new at censhare and as I wandered around our Munich headquarters getting to know the people, what we do and who we do it for, I thought I’d grab a camera and record some of these conversations to share with you.

This evolved into us creating a series of short, 3 minute videos that we intend to publish every week. I am hopefully going to lure a range of our people, customers and partners into the hot seat to share a bit about us, our culture, ideas, products and to tell some of our client stories.

In this first episode, I got to speak with Dagmar Schneider, someone who has been with us since the beginning and she shares a little bit about our history, some of the early customer stories and how those engagements and the business challenges we solve have evolved.

In a later episode, I speak to Christina Gräßel, who runs HR and we discuss our culture and that we are hiring!. I really enjoyed these conversations and I hope that comes through on the video.

By the way – if you are thinking of doing this yourself as part of your content marketing strategy, the idea of “grabbing a camera” turned into us creating a small studio, with a couple of lights in one of our meeting rooms. We shot with a Canon AOS camera and edited using standard tools.

It really was that simple and I’ll be honest, the results are way more professional than I expected, in no small part due to the talent of my colleagues (I can’t promise that you have the same!).

I hope you enjoy getting to know us a bit.
