censhare cofounder steps down from operational business, remaining shareholder and member of the censhare Supervisory Board.

censhare AG achieved strong growth in 2019, earning positive recognition in the market and among analysts, as well as acquiring a number of new customers including Land’s End, Tourism Ireland, Clarins, Volvo Trucks, PLUS Retail, XXXLutz, Microsoft, and FC Bayern München.

At the end of such a highly successful year, censhare cofounder, Robert Motzke, and the Management Board have reached the joint decision that now is the right time to transfer responsibility for the ongoing development of the product portfolio to his team, thanks to the company’s strong position in the market.

After decades of pioneering work in the field of content and media management, Robert will withdraw from day to day business operations in the coming year. “It is quite difficult to pinpoint precisely the right time for such a decision, but I feel that an appropriate moment has now arrived,” Robert commented. “My team and I have created a powerful marketing solution in recent years which is now successfully established in the global market. The competent censhare team will seamlessly carry on this work and I am sure that there will continue to be many exciting challenges in the future. For my part, I am looking forward to support the ongoing development of censhare from my position as a Supervisory Board member.”

Future responsibility for continuing product development will lie in the hands of the strong product team that Robert has built. He will continue to support the team and the company as an advisor, and will remain both a shareholder and a member of the Supervisory Board of censhare AG after stepping down in March next year.

“After many successful years spent in the business, Robert Motzke is giving up his operational role at censhare, but will remain available to the company as a shareholder and Supervisory Board member,” said Supervisory Board chairman Dr. Christoph Bauer. “I would like to thank Robert for his commitment and for his far sighted personal decision to hand over operational responsibility in shaping the next phase of the business to the next generation of management. Needless to say, I am delighted to continue our excellent cooperation on the Supervisory Board."
