Spark44 is a client agency joint venture with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), built from the ground up and that takes on all the functions of multiple agencies, combining them into a single operation with one goal – to accelerate success for JLR.

It was a gamble, but one that ultimately paid off, with Spark44 becoming the 900-strong, award winning international agency it is today, with a roster of international clients.

The agency has recently released case study material highlighting a blend of digital asset management technology (DAM )and the right talent as a major support in this amazing transformation while enabling it to score some serious business results for its client JLR (making cost savings of 55 million whilst increasing cars sales by 100% over 9 years), as well as challenging the accepted agency model as a whole.

You can watch the video here or download the full case study to explore:

  • The importance of "Big Lean Thinking"
  • How the right technology can streamline and lower costs
  • How a solitary goal can create a single minded pursuit of excellence across the business
  • Why Spark44 isn’t afraid of open, honest dialogue with its clients
  • What space to create looks like

Acting as a single source of truth for its digital assets, workflow processes, and marketing automation, the DAM platform allowed the agency to scale at speed while enabling its employees to still create and deliver quality work, and it is fascinating to hear the story of how it and its DAM evolved over the years, directly from the agency itself.
