Implementation Partner

The marketing team at EDEKA Südwest faced the complex task of producing weekly flyers and special promotions while managing large volumes of product data, media assets and print production workflows. To succeed, they needed to integrate multiple systems into a seamless process that could handle both national campaigns and local variations for individual retailers. At the same time, the solution had to support IT specialists, marketers and sales teams with technical as well as operational requirements.

In collaboration with its long-time partner MSP, EDEKA Südwest introduced Censhare’s Digital Asset Management platform along with the MSP Handelsmodul. This provided a centralized environment for refining product data, managing correction workflows and displaying product images through the Mediabox. The system automates the creation of localized flyer templates, generates product variations and promotional texts, and enables efficient layout management. Over time, the solution has been extended with new capabilities, such as poster printing and a translation interface, ensuring that cross-border advertising needs are also met.

The implementation of Censhare has transformed EDEKA Südwest’s marketing operations. Automation has replaced many manual processes, allowing campaigns to be produced more quickly and at a lower cost. By centralizing the management of assets and data, the company has gained efficiency while ensuring that retailers can still adapt centrally produced materials to meet local requirements. The platform supports hundreds of users across the organization and provides the flexibility needed to meet future market demands.

Why Censhare?

EDEKA Südwest chose Censhare for its flexible, open system architecture, combining DAM and the MSP Handelsmodul into a powerful, customizable platform. This ensures seamless integration into existing processes while delivering scalable solutions for both national and local campaigns.
