What awaits you as IT System Administrator Infrastructure at censhare?

As an IT Administrator for Infrastructure, you are jointly responsible for the operation of our systems as well as the management of our external infrastructure partners. In addition to guaranteeing daily operations, we have a wide range of tasks from designing new approaches to operations and automating processes to advising our customers on operations in their own environment. You are part of our global team, which acts under its own responsibility in flat hierarchies and provides considerable room for your further development.

Your job as IT System Administrator Infrastructure

• Operational support for our cloud environments (both private SaaS, and public AWS, Azzure...)

• Administration of the internal system environments and the associated network components

• Ensuring the auditability of our infrastructure (security standards, documentation, etc.)

• Special projects for the further development and continuous improvement of our infrastructure services

• Design and participation in the development of continuous deployment solutions (Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes )

• Management of service providers

Your profile as IT System Administrator Infrastructure

• Studies in IT or comparable training and experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, minimum of 10 years if you want to join us as a Senior

• Good knowledge of networks/firewalls

• Sound knowledge of Unix/Linux system environments

• Good knowledge of scripting (e.g. Python, Bash, ...)

• Experience in automation (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

• Knowledge of Solaris will be considered as a big plus

• Experience in IT security

• Experience with cloud (AWS, Azzure,...) and DevOps concepts (Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes)

• Setting up and managing different Monitoring Solutions (ELK, Nagios, iCinga)

• Conceptual, analytical mindset and enthusiasm for solving complex problems

• Sense of responsibility, reliability, precision and the ability to work independently

• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure

• Fluent English skills
