(Senior) IT Backend Specialist (m/f/d)

What awaits you as (Senior) IT Backend Specialist at censhare?

In this role, you will be the interface providing customer service assistance to our customers and partners in Germany and abroad. You will also assist your colleagues with IT issues that are related to our product. 
In addition, you will be the in-house interface for our Project and Development departments at our headquarters in Munich.
You will also be working closely with customer service staff in the USA and India.

Your job as IT Backend Specialist

• Troubleshoot IT related topics such as OS, censhare application, database and performance related problems

• Counterpart for our Project Managers, Infrastructure Team and Software Development Team

• Communicating with our customers and partners for support and consulting purposes

• Specialized in backend topics such as installations, infrastructure, databases and synergy of the whole environment

• Counterpart for our ServiceDesk for advanced topics

• Design and participation in new tools and/or upcoming automatizations  

We will also offer you an ITIL Foundation training and the LPIC1 certification so that you can familiarize yourself with your new role in the best possible way.

Your profile as IT Backend Specialist

• You have at least five years of relevant professional experience in the areas described above

• You have sound knowledge of at least one Linux and/or Unix operating system (concept, commands, package management, Bash and scripting)

• You have at least basic skills in Oracle or PostgreSQL and SQL

• Good knowledge in dealing with services, such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, TCP/IP

• You have a very strong command of written and spoken English and good communication skills in German (as a plus)

• You are responsible, reliable and can work independently

• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure

It is a plus if you dispose over

• Sound knowledge of Amazon Cloud and/or Azure Cloud

• Experience with Nagios/Icinga/ELK

• Experience with Ansible and Docker

• You are familiar with ITIL and DevOps
