In this episode of Inside censhare, I’m again joined by my boss, Dieter Reichert, the CEO of censhare AG and one of the founders of our business over 15 years ago.

In the first episode we discussed the vision for the company, formed when he was a 15 year old typesetter, with an idea of what can be achieved with the “stupid computer” and in this episode I ask him where he sees that vision today.

Dieter describes today’s world in which the content management and publishing software and services industry has been dissected into an alphabet soup of acronyms that serve the niche needs of silos within organisations. (it’s something I talked about in a recent 2 cents article here on our blog).

And yet, everything is information and we have a content consumer that doesn’t care about these silos, they want real time information and this requires new rules.

A need for our organisations to change and for that change to be reflected in the software tools that support it and how we approach this problem holistically. Dieter specifically singles out the analyst community for perpetuating this silo’d thinking.

An enjoyable conversation, that I hope gives you a glimpse of the vision and strategy of our company and we’ll conclude this series next week, as we discuss censhare today.

Hope you enjoy the video. If you have any feedback on this or the series, then please feel free to add your comments below.
