This week I am joined by Christina Gräßel, our Head of People and Organization, for her fifth time on Inside censhare discussing yet another initiative which I thought would be worth sharing with you as it gives a great insight into the kind of organization that censhare is.

It’s called TransparenCEO and it’s an “ask me anything” session with our CEO. Well, that’s how it started, as you'll hear from Christina, it now includes our whole board.

The way it works: any employee can anonymously ask a question of a board member via a survey tool (you can learn more about our regular employee pulse survey in this blog post). Then either myself or Christina sit with Dieter or the board and ask this question. We ask every question which gets posted exactly as they are posted – there’s no filter!

As you hear in this video, we do this in front of a camera and then share the video with our colleagues via our intranet (which is, as you might expect, powered by censhare!) and you get a peek over Christina’s shoulder as she watches an episode.

It’s been a really interesting program to be part of, as Christina shares in the video, and let’s be transparent about this - we are a diverse team with differing views and sometimes asking the questions is a joy and sometimes it’s slightly uncomfortable. But it’s been a successful and broadly popular initiative with the team, and the executives and I am always inspired by how Dieter handles the difficult questions.

Hopefully this gives you a further glimpse into who we are, and if you are interested in joining us then take a look at our careers page.

Enjoy the video!
