Founded 140 years ago in the US, F. A. Davis publishes around 50 text books each year helping healthcare scientists, students and professionals to deliver the highest standards of care.
With the arrival of the digital age, the publisher diversified and increased its number of output channels for this information, including ebooks, online learning, and testing platforms, and in 2014 began looking for ways in which to streamline these increasingly complicated content production and management processes. It turned to censhare for help.
Initially implemented as a digital asset management (DAM) system specifically aimed at managing assets such as artwork and their associated permissions across the company, a second phase saw it adopted as a workflow management tool.
As you will read in the case study, these success have brought excitement for the future to this publishing house, and a third project to integrate censhare into its existing ERP system, Klopotek, is ongoing - so watch this space!
