Inside censhare: 300!

As immortalized in film, like the Spartans, outnumbered at Battle of Thermopylae, we are 300!* Astonishingly, it was only a few months ago I was interviewing our 200th employee and we are now very close to doubling in size as we close out 2017.

To celebrate, this week on Inside censhare, in the last episode of 2017, I am not joined by Gerard Butler, but our 300th employee, Lucian Irimie.

Lucian is our new Head of Quality Assurance, and this is a good example of how this video series lets you take a peek behind our marketing and find out what really happens in our software business.

Yes, despite being engineered in Germany and our culture of engineering excellence, we admit our software does not pop out of the developer’s finger tips without the occasional “undocumented feature” (a polite term used by my old software team to describe bugs) and Lucian leads the line on our investment in product quality.

Aside from building out QA, this is all part of our growth investment which not only supports our geographic expansion but is heavily focused on R&D, something which caught the attention of the European Investment Bank which has recently granted us funding as part of the European Fund for Strategic Investments.

But back to Lucian, I have fun making these videos. It’s been great spending time with all of our people in 2017 and as we continue to hire there are many more people to chat to in 2018.

I hope you enjoy it.

*Not really, since this interview we’ve hired more brains and are actually 317!

Ian Truscott Ian Truscott

Ian Truscott has the unofficial and honory title of the “Träger des Firmen-Megaphons” for censhare, bringing 20 years of B2B software experience to our company (surely starting as a child) to lead marketing here. Luckily for us in the Munich office, he’s found the kettle and some tea bags – look at him, he’s happy.
