censhare Community Days 2014

The annual censhare Community Days took place at the beginning of October. This time, Schloss Hohenkammer near Munich provided the festive surroundings for the event. A number of contributions presented customer cases and visionary outlooks on the communication of the future. As one of the highlights, Robert Motzke, CPO and founder of censhare AG, provided information on censhare 5.0 and outlined the future developments on the system.

In his presentation Robert Motzke outlined, among others, the new censhare 5.0 Client that significantly enhances the system's user friendliness. The HTML5-based client supports all browsers, as well as mobile terminal devices and allows users to individually configure their dashboards by way of an apps concept and so-called widgets. The updating of the widgets is via the integrated censhare Store that also enables the sale of in-house developed expansions to other censhare users.

As a communication platform, censhare 5 is even further integrated, and thereby promotes the even greater efficiency of all project and asset users. New on-board tools for the management of projects, such as for the planning and monitoring of resources and project budgets, reporting, the utilization of processing status of digital assets and many other features expand the options and possibilities of the censhare 5 toolset.

Especially the presentation of the current Marketing Resource Management (MRM) module within the context of the censhare 5 presentation elicited enthusiastic applause from numerous censhare partners and customers. It supports marketing professionals in planning, monitoring and steering their marketing campaigns, as well as in managing large numbers and volumes of assets. In this way, MRM is capable of automating time consuming tasks, thereby opening up more time for creative work.

The Community Days audience was also duly impressed with the tremendous sum of 25 million assets, which are currently mapped in a censhare load test system. Robert Motzke was especially proud of the high performance for the asset search and asset operations: given this volume the system is capable of importing 3600 assets per minute. Moreover, system speed is now undergoing further optimization.
