Application Support Specialist

As Application Support Specialist you are the expert for analyzing and resolving application issues for our customers, partners, and your colleagues at censhare. When an issue with a censhare system turns up, you work with multiple teams and departments across the company and its international subsidiaries until the issue is resolved.

Your job as Application Support Specialist

  • Analyze censhare application problems and configuration faults and resolve them.

  • Initiate and track issue-related tickets from start to resolution.

  • Configure and monitor services and modules in order to proactively prevent incidents from occurring.

  • Escalate critical problems to R&D and other departments and support these teams in further problem investigation efforts.

  • Analyze and prepare data, such as systems performance, and provide to other departments.

  • Support of our operations team in the operation of application servers.

  • Help optimize our product and support for software quality assurance.

Your profile as Application Support Specialist

  • Experience in troubleshooting and working with Java applications.

  • Sound knowledge of XML, HTML, XSLT and UNIX.

  • Knowledge of XPath, JavaScript and Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.

  • No fear of the command line.

  • Basic knowledge of SQL.

  • Very good knowledge of English, spoken and written.

  • Analytical thinking and the ability to understand complex problems quickly.

  • Structured and solution-oriented way of working, even under pressure.
