What awaits you as a Quality Assurance Engineer at censhare?
As a Quality Assurance Engineer you are a dedicated QA and a team member of one of our scrum teams. It is also your goal to contribute to the manual and automated test strategy and provide feedback for improvements of your product. As we are building up our QA team in Munich, there is plenty of room for your ideas and the possibility to shape your role and the processes. Your job as a Quality Assurance Engineer
You effectively design, develop, and maintain test plans and test cases.
You execute test plans and test cases on complex web based applications.
Record and track defects/bugs to closure.
Work with software developers to identify and resolve defects/bugs.
Maintain and update the regression test plan and test cases based on new functionality.
Participate in daily scrums as well as feature planning discussions.
Your profile as a Quality Assurance Engineer
Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related technical field.
You have at least 6 years of experience as a manual tester for web based applications.
You have a profound knowledge of QA strategies and methodologies (smoke testing, regression testing, functional and non-functional testing).
You experienced testing with different web browsers, complex Web sites, operating systems (Mac OS X, Linux/Unix, Windows) and SQL databases (Oracle and PostgreSQL).
Experiences with performance testing and ideally testing backend services.
In addition, you dispose over great analytical and problem solving skills and an eye for issues related to UI / UX design.
A good understanding of SCRUM and agile principles shape your profile.
You demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate concisely in a team environment.
Ideally you have experience in test automation.
ISEB or ISTQB Certificate (or an equivalent) is desirable but not a must
