As an Application Support Specialist, you will be the expert interface providing customer service assistance to our customers and partners in Germany and abroad. You will also assist your colleagues with technical issues that are related to our product. Here your role goes way beyond the traditional support function. In addition to problem-solving and analysis, you will also make a substantial contribution to the transfer of expertise and communication worldwide. You will suggest optimisations for configurations to our customers and offer suggestions for improving software development. By testing new features, software components and patches, you will contribute to improving the quality of our software and documentation. Furthermore, you will incorporate your ideas into the development of our global support strategy. You will be part of our international team with colleagues in Munich, Gurgaon (India), Zurich (Switzerland) and Denver (USA) that operates autonomously in flat hierarchies and offers you great scope for your own development.

Expert troubleshooter in the event of production-critical issues
Analytical search for solutions down to the root cause in the event of application faults
Structured identification and preparation of analysis data for further processing in other specialist departments
System operations support for our IT Operations team
Optimization of our product and support for software quality assurance
The role doesn’t require regular business travels as the work is done remotely.
At least 5 years of experience in supporting complex customer applications
Positive and professional attitude in dealing with customer issues
Solution-oriented and structured approach to work
Good knowledge of administering a Java application
Experience with XML
Basic knowledge of SQL as well as Cloud and DevOps concepts desirable
Not afraid of the command line and knowledge of the common Unix commands
Able to quickly grasp complex tasks in order to work on our most complex tickets, but also happy to support our Service Desk from time to time
Able to communicate in business fluent English, German language skills are a big plus
