You are a valued contact person for our business units, partners and colleagues when it comes to problem solving around our implemented software solutions and services
Confident trouble shooter for critical problems in cooperation with our software development team and other stakeholders
Structured determination of the root cause based on the provided analysis data (e.g., serverlogs, jstack, heapdump)
Supporting our development team in the processing of problem cases
Optimization of our product and support in software quality assurance e.g., when it comes to testing of new features, software components and patches
Positive and professional attitude in dealing with customer problems
Solution-oriented and structured way of working
Knowledge in the administration of Java and web applications, ideally Content Management Software
Ideally first experiences with the programming languages Java, XML, XSLT, TS, and SQL - Affinity for coding
No fear with the terminal/commandline and knowledge of the common Unix commands
Ability to work under pressure and quick comprehension of complex tasks
Good communication skills in English (German desirable)
As a 3rd Level Application Support Specialist, you are the competent interface between software development and our business units as well as partners. You also support our own colleagues with technical questions about our product. Your task goes far beyond classic support. In addition to problem solving and analysis, you will contribute significantly to the transfer of know-how and communication worldwide. You suggest optimisations of their configurations to our offices and partners and make suggestions for improvements in software development. By testing new features, software components and patches, you contribute to improving the quality of our software and documentation. You will also contribute your ideas to the further development of our global support strategy.
