All things must pass
All things must pass - although sometimes it would appear that they had not even really started yet. Our cenbox will not be launched on the markets. The following is a statement by CCO Dieter Reichert on the cenbox website.
An end without a beginning - well not quite. The cenbox was a project that started and ended with justifiable decisions. The cenbox development process brought many people together at censhare who formed a team. In the course of their work each member changed and developed further in an individual manner. We all gained more insights into the work of other departments, responsibility was shouldered, new functions were designed and standards developed and implemented.
The fact that this project has made positive contributions to general developments at censhare is also evident in bits of conversation increasingly heard in our halls: “Yes, we already had something similar to that with the cenbox ... “
And it was in this context that I became a member of the censhare Project Management Team. I am happy and grateful to have worked with so many highly motivated people on this project and having gained so much experience in the process.
And what’s next?
Peter Laschtowitz
Peter Laschtowitz started as a trainee IT specialist at censhare in 2006, and has been a staff member of censhare IT Services since 2009. He particularly values contact with very different individuals in this area, as well as the many and varied opportunities for fieldwork at clients' premises. He is an enthusiastic events photographer, cook and snowboarder when censhare and his terminal allow him time.

Jedes Ende ist auch ein neuer Anfang
Auch ich weine dem Projekt cenbox ein wenig nach, aber es wird trotz der Einstellung censhare ein weites Stück voran bringen. Vor allem auch hat es dich, Peter, voran gebracht, und um Erfahrungen bereichert, die nicht zu ersetzen sind.
Deine Weiterentwicklung von der IT zum Projektmanagement ist nur folgerichtig, und ich freue mich total für dich. Es war mir eine Riesen-Freude, dich im IT Team gehabt zu haben (und als Projektleiter der cenbox), umso mehr freue ich mich, dass du censhare weiter - nun in deiner neuen spannenden Rolle - unterstützen wirst.
Lass dich von dem "Was kommt als nächstes" einfach überraschen, das Leben ist nie linear (und wenn doch, dann ist es langweilig!) :-)

Das nächste Projekt kommt bestimmt, das war sicher nicht das letzte was ich in die Richtung gemacht habe :)

Ja, Peter,
auch wenn es etwas traurig ist, dass die cenbox jetzt nicht rauskommt, wir haben alle viel gelernt. Aber vor allem haben wir und näher kennengelernt, Teams über Abteilungen hinweg gebildet und doch auch jede Menge Spaß bei der Arbeit gehabt.
Es war mir jedenfalls ein Vergnügen mit Dir und Stefan zusammenzuarbeiten, und das bleibt auch über das Projekt hinaus.
Wieder was gelernt und bis zum nächsten Projekt :))
